Architectural Landmarks in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the largest of the seven emirates that form the federation. As the political, cultural, and economic center of the UAE, it has developed into one of the most modern and cosmopolitan cities in the region. Abu Dhabi’s skyline is a testament to its rapid growth, featuring an array of modern skyscrapers and iconic landmarks such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Watan or the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The Louvre Abu Dhabi is part of the larger Saadiyat Cultural District, which will also include the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, designed by Frank Gehry, and the Zayed National Museum (still under construction).
