The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is a luxury waterfront hotel inspired by 15th- to 17th-century Renaissance Venetian architecture. Located along the Grand Canal and facing the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, this palatial resort features arched façades, lush gardens, and a private beach.
Designed by OTAK International, the hotel was completed in 2013 and has slightly over 500 rooms, suites, and even private villas.

The interiors design was developed by Smith/Firestone Associates (SFA Design), who infused the hotel's grand spaces with rich detailing, combining luxurious Middle Eastern elements with classical European aesthetics.
