Herzog & de Meuron

The architecture practice Herzog & de Meuron was founded in 1978 in Basel by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. The office has now over 400 employees and in addition to the Basel office, branches in London, Hamburg, Madrid, New York and Hong Kong. Herzog & de Meuron were awarded the Pritzker Price in 2001 and both the RIBA Royal Gold Medal and Praemium Imperiale in 2007.
