Norman Foster

Norman Foster is a British architect and designer born on June 1, 1935. He studied architecture at the University of Manchester from 1956 until 1961. He then studied at the Yale School of Architecture as winner of a Henry Fellowship. He founded his architectural practice Foster + Partners in 1967 and it is now the largest in the United Kingdom. He was awarded the Pritzker Price in 1999. Notable building designed by Foster + Partners include the Hearst Tower in New York, the Reichstag Building in Berlin and the Great Court at the British Museum in London.
