Le Corbusier

Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, was born in 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. He moved to Paris in 1917 and became a French citizen in 1930. He was one of the pioneers of modern architecture and a founding member of the Congrès International d'Architecture Moderne. Here are some of the buildings he designed in Switzerland.
