Originally built by Gustav Wülfke between 1892 and 1894, Stadelhofen train station in Zürich was renovated and extended between 1987 and 1990 to a design by Santiago Calatrava.
The concrete and steel construction over the railway tracks are modelled on a bull's ribs. The green pergola behind the train station on the hillside is a beautiful place to relax.
