Frédéric Brugger

Born in Basel in 1912, Frédéric Brugger was a Swiss architect educated at ETH Zurich. He worked with Otto Salvisberg in Zürich from 1937 until 1940 and with Hermann Baur in Basel from 1941 until 1945 before taking over his uncle Charles Brugger’s Lausanne practice in 1945. He was the architect responsible for the industrial and craft section of the Swiss National Exhibition of 1964. He passed way on January 15, 1999.
