The Musée Jenisch is a fine arts museum in Vevey. Its creation was made possible due to a bequest of 200,000 francs by Fanny Jenisch, widow of a senator from Hamburg.
Architecture
Musée Jenisch was built in a neo-classical style to plans by Swiss architects Louis Maillard and Robert Convent and inaugurated on March 10, 1897. A replica of the Parthenon frieze adorns its facade.
