The Musée Jenisch is a fine arts museum in Vevey. Its creation was made possible due to a bequest of 200,000 francs by Fanny Jenisch, widow of a senator from Hamburg.
Musée Jenisch was built in a neo-classical style to plans by Swiss architects Louis Maillard and Robert Convent and inaugurated on March 10, 1897. A replica of the Parthenon frieze adorns its facade.
The two frescos in the entrance hall, entitled "L’Été et les moissons" and "L’Automne et le vin" were created by Swiss painter Ernest Biéler in 1917/1918.
