The Cubotron building on the Unil campus was between 1971 and 1974 to plans by Max Richter and Marcel Gut. Used by the physics faculty, it is characterized by a cubic tower built on top of a larger, concrete base.

Following the transfer of the physics section from Unil to EPFL in 2003, the building is now used by the EPFL physicists.
