Église Sainte-Croix in Sierre was designed by Jean-Marie Ellenberger and built between 1959 and 1962 in exposed concrete.

Its oval shape increased community participation in the spirit and anticipation of the Second Vatican Council. The Christ of the Great Cross was created by Genevan sculptor Albert Rouiller. The stained glass windows were created by Albert Chavaz.
