The Church of Santa Maria Assunta was built in its current Baroque form between 1692 and 1709. It is located on a small artificial terrace slightly outside downtown Poschiavo.
The Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta has a very interesting style with an octagonal dome at its centre.
