Located only 400m from the Eiffel Tower, the Australian Embassy consists of two buildings, the Chancellery with the diplomatic missions to France, OECD and UNESCO and a residential apartment building with 34 units for Australian diplomats. It was built between 1973 and 1977 to plans by Australian architect Harry Seidler.
