Its collection comprises over 6000 works of art, out of which 150 are shown in the permanent exhibition. Among them, the over 3 meters high sculpture "Walking Stick" by Not Vital. Worstward Ho is a sculpture of a circular boat, created in 2013 by the collective Jocjonjosh.

Some of the works are by Angel Duarte, who lived in Valais from 1961 until his death in 2007.
