Architectural Landmarks in Liechtenstein

Nestled between Switzerland and Austria, Liechtenstein has a size of 160 square kilometres, making it Europe's fourth-smallest country. Until the end of World War I, it was closely tied to the Austrian Empire and is now in a customs and monetary union with Switzerland and a well known headquarter for financial service providers and international industrial companies. Despite its small size, Liechtenstein boasts a rich cultural heritage that is reflected in its unique blend of traditional and modern architecture.
