The buildings in the Pont des Sauges district were designed by Bernard Calame and Jean Schlaeppi in the mid 1960s. Their geometric alignment tried to optimise the amount of available green spaces. The flats were built through a prefabrication schema developed by the architect Dominique Gilliard and the engineer J. M. Yokoyama. The facades have been renovated in 1995 and 1996.
