Université de Genève was founded in 1559 by John Calvin as a theological seminar, named the Académie de Genève.
The Carl Vogt building is dedicated to the environment, territory and sustainability. With a surface of 5000 square meters spread across 7 floors, it was designed by 3BM3 and built between 2010 and 2015.
