The Geneva Sécheron train station, designed by Swiss architectural firm 3BM3, was inaugurated in 2004. Strategically located near key international organizations, such as the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations, the station is part of Geneva's global diplomatic hub. It also serves as a key stop on the Léman Express line, linking Geneva to the surrounding region, be it Switzerland or France.
One of the station’s most distinctive features is its modern elevated red walkway, which allows passengers to cross over the tracks, seamlessly integrating the station into the urban fabric while prioritizing pedestrian flow.
