The Hotel des Bergues in Geneva was built by François-Ulrich Vaucher based on plans by architect André Miciol, winner of the architectural competition in 1829. It was inaugurated in 1834. One additional floor was added between 1917 and 1919 and today offers 70 bedrooms and 45 suites.
