Point 4 LHC
The LHC (Large Hadron Collider), the world's most powerful particle collider. Built between 1998 and 2008, it has a circumference of 27km. It can accelerate protons to a speed only about 11km/h slower than the speed of light, which means that they do more than 11000 revolutions per second in the ring !

Point 5: CMS
One slice of the 14000 tonne CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) detector at CERN’s LHC (Large Hadron Collider). The complete detector is 21m long and 15m wide and high ! Located 100m below the surface it’s famous for being part of the Higgs boson discovery.
