Casa Milà, also referred to as La Pedrera, is the last private residence designed by Antoni Gaudí. It was built between 1906 and 1912 for the Milà family. Among many innovative features, Casa Milà featured the first underground parking garage in Barcelona.

The walls of the entrance vestibule are painted in shades of green, giving the impression of entering a cave. The full first floor was used by the owner's family, while the upper four levels were for rent.

The attic was used for laundry and ventilation. It contains 270 arches.
