Born in Lausanne in 1916, Pierre Bonnard was a self-taught Swiss architect who joined his father René Bonnard in their Lausanne practice, officially becoming a member of the Vaud section of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA) in 1967. Among his most notable contributions are the Tour Georgette, the administrative headquarters of André & Cie in Lausanne (designed in collaboration with Jean Tschumi) and the expansion of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) (executed alongside Jean‑Pierre Cahen and Jacques Longchamp). He passed away in Lausanne in 1994.
