EPFL IBOIS lab

The IBOIS lab at EPFL is the Laboratory for Timber Constructions. Its aim is to develop develop a new generation of timber construction using timber products ranging from natural wood to engineered products. It was founded by Julius Natterer and since 2004, is directed by Professor Yves Weinand.
