Maison d'ailleurs is a science fiction museum and documentation center in Yverdon-les-Bains. It opened in 1976 with the 50000 books and items Pierre Versins had collected over 25 years. Since 1991 it is housed inside a renovated former prison built in 1806. It is connected to the Espace Jules Verne, a library with more than 20000 documents, through a footbridge.
