The Conference Pavilion on the Vitra Campus was designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando and opened in 1993, marking this his first project outside Japan. The pavilion is harmoniously integrated into a cherry-tree meadow, with the design thoughtfully planned to minimize environmental impact, resulting in the removal of only three trees. Inside, the use of meticulously crafted exposed concrete and warm wood surfaces creates a serene atmosphere.
