The Halber tenement house in the Praga Polnoc district of Warsaw was built for Izrael Halber between 1905 and 1912. The plans for this Art Nouveau gem at 38 Kłopotowskiego were most probably drawn by Polish architect Ludwik Panczakiewicz.
The spiral staircase is build not around a circle but an ellipse. Its iron railing is decorated with patterns of twisting flowers.

After the expropriations during World War II, the exact ownership of the building still hasn't been solved and it is currently administered by the city of Warsaw. It is a listed building since 2007.
