The Grenette de Vevey (meaning "grain storehouse") was constructed in 1808 based on plans by Lausanne architect Jean-Abraham Fraisse. It is located on the edge of the Place du Marché and is characterized by its open hall design, supported by 18 Tuscan columns. The Grenette, along with the adjacent Place du Marché, is listed as a Swiss cultural heritage site of national importance.
Today, the building serves as the local tourism office, offering both office space and a sheltered area with stunning views of the Place du Marché, Lake Geneva, and the Alps.
