The Valserrheinbrücke, also called Dorfbrücke Vals ("Vals village bridge"), was designed by Jürg Conzett and Peter Zumthor and built in 2009. The new, 24m long and around 5m wide bridge is made of reinforced concrete. It crosses the Valser Rhein at an angle in order to directly face the village square.
