The Morges Temple was built between 1769 and 1776. The initial plans were by Bernese architect Erasmus Ritter and the protestant church was actually already completed in 1771. Unfortunately the bell tower collapsed and the entire facade had to be rebuilt. Since Erasmus Ritter resigned, Léonard Roux designed the new plans. The solemn dedication took place in 1776.
