The remains of the Roman Villa near Perl were first discovered in 1900. The reconstruction work began in the mid 1990s and was essentially completed in 2008. The buildings are located exactly where they originally stood and hence allow the visitor to appreciate the appearance of the site in the 2nd and 3rd century.
The baths in the reconstructed Villa Borg are fully functional. They consist of a frigidarium (cold bath), a caldarium (hot bath), tepidarium (tempered bath) and a relaxation area.
