The Schiessentumpel is a waterfall in the river Schwaarz Iernz.
After the state of Luxembourg provided a budget for the construction of small bridges in the Mullerthal, stone mason Jean-Pierre Prommenschenkel was commissioned to built this one right next to the waterfall. The bridge was built in 1879 and several sculptures are incorporated in its stone, such as a crocodile’s head and a slug.
