Vaudoise Assurances was founded in 1895 and is the only one of the 10 main Swiss private insurances companiesto have its headquarter in French-speaking Switzerland.
Designed by Jean Tschumi, the Vaudoise Assurances corporate headquarter in Lausanne was built between 1952 and 1956. The building overlooks the Léman and the reception, free of walls, allows beautiful views of the lake and the mountains in neighbouring France.
The building even includes some works of art, such as sculptures and murals, made by important Swiss artists of the 1960s.
