Maison de l'Estérel in Lausanne was built to plans by Swiss architect Louis Albert Brazzola and completed in 1904.
The staircase with its distinctive shape and detailed decorations is among the most beautiful representatives of the Art Nouveau style in French speaking Switzerland. The stained glass windows are the work of Eduard Diekmann.
