The Museumsinsel subway station in Berlin was designed by renowned Swiss architect, Max Dudler. Its construction  started in 2020 and it was inaugurated in 2021.

The interior of the station boasts a breathtaking blue barrel vault that emulates a starry sky, inspired by Karl Friedrich Schinkel's 1816 stage design for the opera, The Magic Flute.
