The Futurium, a three stories high exhibition and event location in the heart of Berlin, was designed by two local architects, Christoph Richter and Jan Musikowski. It was completed in 2017. The building itself conforms to low-energy standards, using several renewable energies: collectors for photovoltaics and solar thermal energy are installed on it roof. The roof also collects all rainwater, draining it into a cistern that's then used to cool the building.
