Completed in 2020 by 3XN, cube berlin is a 19,500 square meter office building located on Washingtonplatz, within the Europacity district adjacent to Berlin’s main train station. The structure is a 42.5-meter cube featuring a double-glazed, reflective façade with a triangulated relief pattern that integrates outdoor terraces on all ten floors. Designed as a "smart building," it utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to manage maintenance, energy supply, and climate control, while its energy-efficient "osmotic" skin and solar coatings support its pursuit of DGNB Gold certification. The interior provides modular, multi-tenant office layouts and floor-to-ceiling windows, complemented by a ground-level food market.
