Eugène Jost

Eugène Jost was a Swiss architect born in 1865 in Corsier sur Vevey. He studied architecture at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris between 1884 and 1891, then opened his architectural practice in Montreux in 1892. Some of Jost's most notable works are the Caux Palace and Lausanne’s Beau Rivage Palace. His work also extended to other types of buildings, such as villas, residential complexes, and public infrastructure such as the Pont Bessières in Lausanne. He died in 1946 in Lausanne.
