Located at 1400m above sea level, the Andermatt Konzerthalle was built to plans by Studio Seilern Architects and completed in 2019 after a total construction time of two years. The project transformed an existing underground space designed for conventions into a concert hall with a total capacity of over 600 spectators and a 75 piece symphonic orchestra. The Andermatt Concert Hall was inaugurated on June 16, 2019 with a concert of the Berliner Philharmoniker under the direction of Constantinos Carydis.
From the exterior, the concert hall appears as a one-storey pavilion with a large roof. The windows allow views inside.

From the interior, the large glass windows in the upper part of the concert hall allow for views towards the surrounding mountain panorama. The Andermatt Konzerthalle has a flexible interior design so that it can also be used for conferences, exhibitions or weddings.
